The game project experience was exhausting! It took me well over a month to develop something that I felt proud to hand in. There were times where I wanted to scrap my project and start over with something that I thought would be easier, but working hard and overcoming adversity felt much better than taking the easy way out. I want to give a special thanks to my wife who put up with me ignoring her countless hours in the pursuit of creating my game. The biggest hurdle was teaching my class in Drag and Drop and having to learn GameMaker Language for this online class. I think it is very important to understand on how to write code in our technologically driven society! Following the game design process did make things easier, because when I was stuck or coming up with some wild ideas I was able to refer back to my Game Design Document and ground myself and regroup.
